FireScope Orchestrate Discovery
Even after Federating data from your existing Management Data Repositories (MDR's), you may not have a complete picture of your IT Services and their dependencies. Additionally, how do you keep your configuration knowledge accurate over the long term as new systems are brought online or decommissioned and changes are introduced outside of change management processes. This is why FireScope Orchestrate includes an integrated Discovery capability that scans your network, without requiring agents, to identify your networked assets and their dependencies.
However, simply dumping every discovered asset into your system introduces the potential for bad data being introduced into the system. That's why FireScope Orchestrate can optionally integrate Discovery with our Change Management feature, enabling discovery data to be analyzed by FireScope's Reconciliation engine and wrapped in a Request For Change (RFC) for formal approval before being committed to your configuration view.
