FireScope's Data Now portlet makes a great addition to any intranet project, giving users direct access to database data to blend with your other content. Need access to more than one database? Simply drop in additional instances of the portlet and build your queries.
The Wizard
With FireScope Data Now, you don't have to be a SQL expert to access your data. An intuitive five step wizard guides you through connecting to any MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL database. Once a connection is made, its simply a matter of clicking checkboxes to specify the tables and columns you want to see.
Charting
A feature unique to FireScope Data Now: Enterprise-Edition is its charting capability. After specifying the data you wish to view, using the 5-step wizard above, simply click the 'Create Chart' and complete a short form to instantly generate pie charts, line graphs or bar charts of your data.
